As My Fire burns

"Search your heart, my son," my father say to me before he lies dead in his bed.
I look down and start to weep as the only person I knew was gone. I looked around and saw no one but I remembered who killed my father. The man who claims to be a man who attacks a single dad with his only son. I search my heart as I continue to weep and say this.
" One day. One day I will get him for what he did. You hear me you swine, I'm going to kill you!" I remembered I raised my fist into the air as I shouted," My name is no longer. It is Havoc the Avenger!."

My fire grew as that day passed. I was young and full of joy with my father, James Griffin, the commissioner of New York City. I always wanted to be a cop since I saw my dad stop a robbery when I was 5. My dad was the man, who never stole money or drugs from the department. But things always come crumbling down, after he arrested a man named John Fist. John Fist was the son of the man named only as the Kingpin. The Kingpin controlled everything so my dad tried to stop him every time as possible. I can remember everything that happened when Johnny got arrested.
John yelled ,"Everybody put your hands up because this a stick up," as he aim his gun with his thugs.
My father was on the scene because he was getting money for food and said to the clerk," Call the police,OK?"
The clerk nodded and did just what he said then my father took out his gun at aim it at them. He said," Drop your weapons and puts your hands behind your head. Now!"
John smirks and fire at my dad then says," Back off commissioner. We just making a withdraw."
My father barked back as he saw me coming from the restroom," No you back down now! Or I use force on your butt."
John heard the squad cars outside of the bank and said," You son of a-"
Before he finished that sentenced my father shot John in the leg then lets the police burst into the bank and surround them.
I was proud of my father but I regretted it because what happened next. Soon as the Kingpin heard about it, he ordered a hit on my father. He sent the best to get him but my father sent them back packing. So the Kingpin had get the job done himself. My father had sensed that trouble was coming so he put me in a closet. I watched as Kingpin killed my dad and was screaming in my head. The city held a funeral for my dad, but it was horrible because the Kingpin showed up at his funeral to pay his respects.

I decided to follow in my father's footsteps, since he was the only guy i knew. I thought that if I was a cop, I could contribution for my family. So I became the world's best cop just like my old man but better, Everybody knew me even if they are no my state. I became the Commissioner of New York City just like my dad and had a kid and beautiful wife. Just like my dad wanted me to have. But life doesn't and its always something that rain on my day. I was doing my regular routine as I hear on the radio," Help we need help! Two officers have been shot and killed. We need back up. Help.." Static was the sound of the radio as I drove to their position and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was none other but John Fist, the man who was the kid of the Kingpin. Blinded by rage, I drove straight into the building, which was a accounting building. Three of his goons were dead and he lied by the floor, recovering from the shock. I spranged quickly from the car and punched the snot outta him. John said," Stop or I'll get my father on you," and spat in my face. I continued to punch him and said," I don't care, your father took something from me. Now its time to return the favor." But I stopped and handcuffed him then waited for back up. But it didn't show instead it was the Kingpin. He stood tall from his car but I aimed my gun at him then said," Put your hands up and stand down!" He smirked and said," Now why would I do that, Mr. Commissioner?" " Because I said so! Now stand down you worthless piece of crap," I yelled as I was blinded with rage again. Before I knew it, his men surround me with guns and he waves a signal. I was gunned down by 5 guns but I manged to say something," I will never die, you sucker." The Kingpin goes to me and say," Not yet," then shoots me in the head with his glock. You know death is actually good but it also sad. My wife, Emily, is probably weeping over me right now as we speak. My son, JR, is probably feeling the same thing as I did over my father. Since I was dead, I came across a woman named Jessica. Jessica the beauty of death, who kills you when you die so you can move on. But it wasn't my time, because I was brought back to life by the most dangerous person in the world, Lucifer.

I stand in the fiery pits of Hell, before Lucifer, who dressed in a suit. Lucifer tells me," Ah, the great Ray Griffin of New York City. Who never done anything bad just like his father." I back away from him then yells," Why am I here? I cast no sin of no such thing." Lucifer laughs," You have committed a sin which is revenge. You're not all high and mighty now huh, boy?" I screamed," No its not true," then fell to my knees, sobbing. Then a bright light from above came and it turned into a angel. The angel was Michael then said this," Release him Lucifer and let me take him home." Lucifer argued," No! He's mine and my alone." Then a huge fight came between the two as they fought. But Michael won the fight and took me back to earth then told me," Ray, you have a mission to do, which is stop the Kingpin's reign." "How can I stop him? He controls everything in the city. And he might hurt my family and people I really care about," I yelled in pain. But Michael did something to me, which involved a halo appear over my body. I felt weird but in a good way and a bit stronger than I ever was. Before I could Michael of what he done, he was gone but Lucifer came as well. He did the same thing as Michael did but said this," God and myself are trying to see where you are going when you die. So Micheal and I gave you our powers to see if you deserve go to heaven or hell." He disappeared and left me in the streets of Harlem as it snowed. I asking myself what just happened but suddenly my fire burned again. I went to go seek my family, that I left when I died. I just hope they didn't move on without me.

I went back to my home, and my family looked peaceful. So I spied from a window to see my wife with our child. I knocked on the door and heard a pop in the room. I was shocked and bursted into the house and saw a man with a gun. My wife holds her arm, where she been shot. But my son was dead by a shot in the head and looked at me, dead. The guy yelled," You're supposed to be dead, man," and starting shooting at me. But the bullets felt like nothing and I smirked then said," My turn kingpin punkass fool." I started punching him hard and hard untill Emily stop me, the hitman was down for the count. I wanted kill him for my son, but my wife won't allow it. I looked into Emily's eyes and just hugged her as if it has been a decade. She smiled and weep from our child death. Emily rapidly went to the phone and said," I'm going to call the police on him." But I told her no and that I dont make big scene about coming from the dead. She nodded and hugged me bur I knew this will probably be one of the few times, I will see her. I told to go her parent's home and stay there. She said," Will I ever see you again?," and I nodded. As I watched her leave in the taxi, I went to Brooklyn so I can pack up in heat.
