Under the Black Flag

I climb aboard the ship in a frenzy, and look around for Ray. "Where is he?" I stand up on the deck crosses my arms. "YES! I won..." I put a big smile on my face and look at everyone else. "I did win, right?"

- on hammock,waving at him-

aye edward u "won"...second again...

-laughs,drinking rum-

I stare at him with an angry face, but sighs and rubs the temples of my head. "Sure, sure, whatever, Ray...."

-laughs and checks the sky-

almost time to go mate...

I look at the sky and nod. "You're right."

i'm going get everything ready...

- starts working on ship-

I crack my knuckles and look at Edward, a smug grin on my face, because he's by the edge of the ship..

I whistle innocently and walk over to him, my hands behind my back.

I look at the girl walk towards me, and narrows my eyes. "I never get your name, lass..."

I grab his hand and shake it, the smug smile still on my face.

"Charlotte. You call me Char though, alright?" I nod at him.

-yells-

hey edward mind help me out a bit?!

I stare at her and shake her hand, then pull it away. "Yes, okay.... Char." I look up at Ray and smile. "Yeah, be right there!" I look back at Char and smile smugly at her, then runs to Ray.

- whispers-

u ok,mate? Because she has it in for you bad...

"I'm fine. I'll keep an eye on her..." I cross my arms.

yea...

- looks up again-

15 minutes left..

My fake smile fades as I see them working together. I raise and eyebrow and bite my lip, turning my back and going down to the (cannon place? LOL xD I don't remember)

Puts my hands back my back and looks out over the crew. "Are ye anxious, Ray?"

yes...

-looks at him-

always..

Smiles and pats him on the back hard. "Well, don't be! We have a skilled and loyal crew. And yours truly." I grin smugly.

Loyalty can only go so far,mate...

- looks around-

-I lean against the rail, watching the crew and Edward-
'A young'un captain, eh? I'm sure Hector's watching him closely.'

-grins at the thought and atkes a drink of Rum before looking down at lizzie who sits on the floor playing with my boots-

"Aye, I know. But, think about what would happen if we DID make it to Dead Man's Island and come back? We'll be legends! It gets me all fired up just thinking 'bout it." I smile. "And if we don't, well, at least we had some fun."

-shrugs-

lets just make sure we get there

-My eyes brighten when I ehar Dead Man's Island as I walk over-

Pardon me for listenin' in but what is this Dead Man's Island? I known Hector has told me thousands of times. -I scoff and rolls my eyes- but, do tell me, sir.

I look at the woman who came up to us, and I grin innocently. "No one knows exactly what it is. But rumor has it that it's full of treasure from all countries, and that the corpses of the sailors who tried to sail to it come to life and kill off any wandering ship and sailor. They also say there's a portal to hell on the island, and that the devil himself lives there."

-Nods in understanding-
